When our Dream Team staff was planning Mayor (ahem, Luke) Rainwater’s dream, here are they items we needed to consider:

And that is just on the 1st day of 𝗗𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗞𝗶𝗱 𝗟𝘂𝗸𝗲’𝘀 𝗗𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲! 😮

You see, lukerainwater is a special 9-year-old, full of spirit and charisma. He never met a stranger (just take a look at his pics!) and he lives with Spina Bifida. And even though his condition can be very challenging, you would never know it because this guy exudes a happiness and a spark that is difficult to describe! 😁

Luke’s send-off 🌟𝗥𝗢𝗖𝗞𝗘𝗗🌟! His friends from gastoniafire brought him to Carolina Cat (shout out to the 2019 𝘘𝘶𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘊𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘉𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘠𝘦𝘢𝘳) in CLT where Luke was the man of the hour! 👏🏽 Employees lined the halls and the cheers were deafening! 👏🏽 He got to check out the equipment 🚜, he received a custom NY Yankees jersey, and even signed his own custom baseball cards for his friends. ⚾

From there he jetted to NYC where the GrandHyattNYC rolled out the red carpet. 🎉 The gifted him some great treats and presents, even his very own CUSTOM Yankees hat! After dining at Sinigual, an upscale Mexican restaurant, Luke made his way over to M&M World 🍫 where he met Red, one of the M&M guys, as well as some staff members. As you can see, Luke does not hang out with strangers… 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗺𝗲𝘁… 𝘆𝗲𝘁.
