Two years ago today I married this man. Today, we sailed to the isle of Capri together. Marriage has been a lot like looking in a mirror. A mirror in which we see ourselves not as we would like to be, but as we are. And on the other side of that mirror is not my critical self but a gentle, strong, fun and loving man who sees me as I am but also sees the hidden beautiful parts of me waiting for refinement and new life. So many parts of me have come to life since marrying Jonny. And I think that is truly truly the biggest gift. #matchmadeinmendez
