Rising Junior Rowan Palmer is spending her summer in Baltimore County, Maryland as a mechanical engineering intern at Stanley Black&Decker! She works with the Agile Innovation Group to design and develop new tools for brands like DeWalt and Black&Decker. In her free time, she explores Baltimore and DC, biking around town, trying out great coffee shops and food, and visiting a lot of museums! 🛠🚴‍♀️☕️

Her highlight of the summer so far: "I've decided this is my summer of "making"! I've been learning welding and woodworking, so I'm in the middle of some projects with that. I've also launched two rockets: one in New Mexico with my team from YUAA, and one I made myself to get rocket certified!" #summerinDC #mechanicalengineering #YGT
