"As a portrait photographer for more than 20 years, I’ve learned so much about people, and myself. Working with families to create iconic portraits of themselves and their relationships is such an honor and I’m grateful to have a front-row seat as they grow and change over the years. I’ve learned that every session is an opportunity to change the way someone feels about themselves…how amazing is that? I’ve included some of my favorite family portraits in this post.

I don’t know about you, but I found myself in quite a funk during the first few months of the pandemic. I’ve learned that I’m better when I’m creating. I’m happier. I have more energy, more purpose. It is my air. So, I decided to use the downtime during COVID to photograph dancers - something I’ve always wanted to do. I named the project 'Art of Motion' and because it was just for me, there were no client expectations I had to meet. I was able to push myself to create something entirely new. I felt like I was coming back to life and, because it was my entire focus for a few months, I was able to just put my head down and create. I’m sharing a few of those images here.
