ICYMI: Today we announced the all-new RX100 VII compact camera. This little guy packs a whole lot of speed and power including 60 AF/AE calculations per second and 20 fps blackout-free shooting. It also has Real-time Tracking and Real-time Eye AF capabilities for stills and video, the ability to shoot at up to 90 fps in Single Burst Shooting Drive mode, a microphone jack, and LOTS of other features. Photographer and #AlphaCollective member edsel shares some of his first thoughts on this new addition to our #SonyRX line-up: "I'm blown away by the technological feat of the new Sony RX100 VII. Every iteration of this camera has seen a huge improvement, but this is almost an entire internal overhaul making it possibly the most versatile camera ever released on the market. With 20fps of continuous, black-out free shooting and a 24-200mm lens you can shoot sports and action. It also has stabilized video, a flip-up screen, a microphone jack for vlogging in 4K, and Sony’s new Eye AF technology for guaranteed sharp portraits.
