Your holiday weekend needs this super easy and delicious make-ahead dessert that is sure to win over the crowd at your kick-off-to-summer party! 🎉 Made with simplemills soft baked chocolate chip toasted coconut cookies which are gluten free, dairy free and crazy good!!! Only simple, all natural ingredients in these ice cream sammies and they just scream summertime, don’t ya think? ☀️ Grab the recipe below for my favorite classic slow churn chocolate ice cream. Classic Chocolate Ice Cream >>>
INGREDIENTS 
3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder, sifted
2/3 cup granulated sugar
1/3 cup brown sugar
2 cups heavy cream
1 cup whole milk
1/8 tsp kosher salt
DIRECTIONS
Freeze bowl of ice cream maker 12 hours in advance
In a medium bowl mix together cocoa powder, sugars and salt.
Add heavy cream and milk.
Whisk until smooth.
Place bowl in refrigerator for three hours or overnight.
Churn ice cream according to manufacturer’s directions until thickened and creamy. For a firmer ice cream, freeze for two hours before serving.
