👨‍🏫 What do you like best about your professors?
They are genuine, approachable, wise, and seek the best for students. They are a direct cause to the growth I’ve had in my time here. “In a multitude of counselors there is safety”

📕 What do you like best about your major?
The critical thinking, problem solving aspect, and the outreach opportunities that come through it.

✝️ How has your faith grown since you’ve been at SWU?
Being at SWU has further taught me discipline, responsibility, and how to walk by faith. Although there are many areas in need of growth in my faith, SWU continues to be an open door to grow closer to God through obedience, and to demonstrate courage when fighting battles.

💙 What made you chose SWU?
The fact that God opened the door to SWU through my discipline, love, and character for soccer was what encouraged me to walk through it.

❔What is your favorite part about the SWU Community? What would you tell a new student looking at colleges about SWU’s community?
The love, kindness, or genuine character shown from the people here, the intentionality and passion for ministry of the staff, and the spiritual growth opportunities. I would say that the word that comes to mind when thinking about our community is family. Coming from a Hispanic culture and small church, family and unity are very close to heart.

❓What is your favorite activity, group, or event on campus?
I love the culture established with the boys on the soccer team, and the heart of our fans that attend our games. I love the heart of The Difference, a summer ministry team. Bilingual chapel services are pretty cool.
