What a year. Our final service has come and gone. I don’t know where to begin. This past year has been a year of ups and downs. I’ve gained some incredible friendships that will last a lifetime. I’ve learned about myself as a person and as a chef. I’ve grown. I’ve succeeded and I’ve failed. The list of people that have supported me and been a part of this journey is lengthy, but you all know who you are. To my wife, thank you for doing this by my side. It was not always easy, but you always stuck by me and supported me every step of the way, I love you. To my staff, past and present, thank you for doing everything you did every single day. Dealing with me I’m sure had its moments, but I’ve grown by having you and I hope you have grown too. To Jesse, Pete and Summer, you three have been great. I couldn’t imagine that our relationship would be as strong as it is, but I wouldn’t want it any other way. I love you guys. To the staff of iron born, colonia, and banhmilicous, you have all made this year a lot of fun and hope to stay in touch with all of you. To all my family and friends that came from near and far to support, you have no idea how much I appreciate it. It meant the world to me. To my colleagues in the industry that I leaned on for advice, thanks for lending an ear and always giving honest feedback. And to all of our incredible guests that supported us over the past year, without you, none of this would be. I hope to cook for you all again soon, and I look forward to staying in contact with you all.
