It’s Giving Tuesday! Your gifts make a difference. Read how working students like Abril Avendano need scholarships to excel. Join with SWU to make this day of generosity a success. Visit swu.edu/givingtuesday to make a difference today!

Abril is a SWU student, presidential ambassador, athlete, and also a certified nursing assistant at a local emergency room. She serves as a role model for SWU students and alumni through her work ethic and Christlike attitude. Check out her story about how the care and concern of SWU faculty member, Dr. Michelle Eller, along with generous SWU donors, helped bring her life into balance and put her on a pathway to apply her science and ministry education together as she serves on the front lines of the battle against COVID-19 now, and in the future as she aspires to become a medical missionary.

SWU students, faculty, and staff beat COVID-19 and remained safely face-to-face the entire semester! Celebrate Giving Tuesday by making a gift to SWU Student Scholarships and help us do it again next spring. During this global pandemic students like Abril need support more than ever. Help SWU complete its goal of sponsoring 30 student scholarships at $1,000. Every gift gives hope. swu.edu/givingtuesday
