The Office of Academic Affairs is excited to present a FREE screening of the award-winning documentary Screenagers: Growing Up in the Digital Age on Friday, January 3 at 10:00am. 
Whether you teach, pastor, recruit, counsel, or parent teens, this is the documentary you need to see! Screenagers addresses the most pervasive parenting issue of our time head on—depicting teen struggles over social media, video games and internet addiction. 
Physician and filmmaker Delaney Ruston takes a deeply personal approach as she probes into the vulnerable corners of family life, including her own, to explore struggles over social media, video games, academics and internet addiction. Through entertaining stories and surprising insights from authors, psychologists, and brain scientists, Screenagers reveals how tech time impacts kids’ development, and also offers solutions on how adults can empower their kids to best navigate the digital world to find balance.

Tickets are FREE at www.swu.edu/boxoffice (link in profile), suggested donation $5. The screening will be followed by a brief panel discussion. Professional development certificates of attendance are available upon request. Guests are also invited to purchase lunch in the University Dining Commons following the panel for a discounted price of $5 per person.
