“It’s always difficult getting up for sunrise photos, but capturing the early morning glow at locations like the Cape Porpoise Fish House makes it worthwhile. In the summer I had the pleasure of capturing this shot with a beautiful reflection of the house in the still water. This time around I knew things would be different. The ice in the foreground helped create some beautiful leading lines. I absolutely love traveling up to Maine for images like this—there is so much to see!” Photo and words by kejames_photography.⁠
