1. Clara-Sage Harris, 3, walks on a sticky floor caused by the removal of carpet at the Townhomes at Double Creek in Round Rock on April 6, 2021. More than 40 families on the property have received letters deeming their homes unlivable after February’s winter storm and were given seven days to move out. Unlike their neighbors, the family has not received a letter from the property management.

2. Joanta Holmes has been living in a hotel with her five children since Feb. 21 because of winter storm damage. She had been looking for a new rental home before receiving the eviction notice and signed another lease. "I would have trusted God," Holmes responded when asked what she would have done if she didn't find another rental. "Kind of what everyone around here has to do.” 

3. Latavious Rogers, 16, left, Promise Clayborne, 5, Payton Floyd, 19, above, and Antavas Rogers, 16, listen as their father Alfred Clayborne, 33, recounts a pipe bursting in their home caused by the storm. For the last two weeks, Clayborne and six other family members have been living in a hotel for a second time since the storm.
