## Caption

Just over two years after Javier Ambler’s death, Deputies J.J. Johnson and Zach Camden were charged with manslaughter. The pair chased Ambler after a minor traffic violation and tased him despite Ambler telling the officers he could not breath and had congestive heart failure. 

“While we can never take away the pain of the Ambler family, the grand jury has sent a clear message that no one is above the law,” Travis County District Attorney Jose Garza said. 

The Ambler family lost a son and a father. 

“Dad shouldn’t have to bury his son,” Ambler’s father said. “But it’s not up to me.”
