Austin residents Larry and Barbara Amy have been married for more than 40 years. Barbara, who has ALS, depends on a BiPAP machine to breathe. Early on February 15, the Amys lost power during a powerful Texas winter storm. This is how Larry kept Barbara alive for more than 60 hours without electricity.
