Crews work to set up one of the four stages that will be present at Austin's New Year's Eve celebration on Vic Mathais Shores on Friday, December 30, 2016. The event, hosted by the City of Austin, runs from 3 p.m. to 10:30 on Dec. 31, with a fireworks display at 10 p.m. Four stages playing music for all ages form 22 bands, along with kid's activities, food trucks and art installations will be part of the extravaganza.
