CALS staff member Dannica Wall made history this spring when she became the first Black female at NCState to earn a Ph.D. from the Prestage Department of Poultry Science. 

“I like to think of myself as an individual who was confident enough to take risks without knowing the outcome. Self-belief is very real, and at times I think we take that for granted,” Dannica says.
