I used to be so scared of telling people where I went to college and how my path had happened. I thought I would be viewed as “incompetent” or “not enough” when I told people I was denied twice and went to a community college. However, I couldn’t be anymore wrong. Seeing how individuals not only accepted me, but supported me showed me that we don’t have to be afraid to let people see our paths and where we are in life. Because with the right #goals, people, and hard work any #dream is possible. So, to the girl who was mortified at #graduation, and the girl who thought she would be held back as a state officer, the day you never thought would happen - is finally here. — Anna Young
