With a father who's a #CoopExt agent and mother who owns a small-animal clinic (both of whom are NCState alums) it seemed like destiny for Regan Mitchem (Mitchem.Regan) to join the #AgPack.

At just 5 years old, Mitchem joined her local NorthCarolina4H chapter and started showing #livestock competitively. Her annual trips to attend 4H Congress or judge #livestock at the NCStateFair were paired with campus tours, where she’d explore her parents’ former #home.

While at #NCStateCALS, she plans to major in #animalscience and then attend NCStateVetMed to help expand her mom's business in her hometown of Vale, North Carolina.
