#JSUCares - #JSU20, along with various student leaders, participated in a "Crop Drop" by handing out bags of donated sweet potatoes to local residents.

A “Crop Drop” is a gathering of excess crops dropped off at a central location and distributed to the community at no charge. This event is part of the New Student Orientation week and over 100 incoming students participated in this community service project. Center of University Based Development staffers estimated that over 19,000 lbs of food were distributed.
