Learn to embrace and not fear failure or else you will let your fears keep you miserable and mediocre, and you will then in turn never realize your maximum God-given talent‼️
My lifetime personal record doing seated military DB pressing is 115lbs X 5 reps, but today I only got 3-4.5ish reps.
Most people wouldn’t post anything but a pr, but what people don’t understand is that lifting isn’t just about personal records and showing off success; It’s also about growth.
The most beautiful growth is growth achieved through failure, and this doesn’t just have to be physical growth, but also mental growth!
Your mind is a muscle just like your shoulders (which I worked in the set that you watched). Your mind and mental toughness is a muscle that must be tested for it to grow.
Failure and pushing past mental limitations and going all-out on a set is beautiful!
