"From the #CannabisCup to Zalympix, it seems there’s very little consensus around how this should be done event to event – which is likely why there are so damn many of them now, and why each does it slightly different. New ones pop up to fill the gaps they saw in the old ones, and so on. While I do think some people are doing great work, and High Times is of course the originator of this model in our space, I feel inclined to discuss the differences between them to give those of you at home a better understanding of how this process works – and hopefully call some of the other organizers up to a higher level."
