Have you ever had one of those days when you can’t get someone off of your mind? Today is one of those days for me! I can’t stop thinking about my grandma who passed away over 14 years ago. These marranitos 🐖were my grandma’s favorite sweet bread and remind me so much of her. We never made them at home growing up. We had a panaderia (Mexican bakery) nearby, so we never had the need to make them. 💀Being that Dia de los Muertos is fast approaching I plan to make them in her honor this year. “Our dead are never dead to us, until we have forgotten them.” ~George Eliot
