Don Bosco Prep defeats Northern Highlands 15-3 in the Bergen County Championship game. 
•
Head Coach Brendan Gorman on how it felt to win his 50th game with Bosco on 5/22 against Bergen Catholic- “It was special for the guys. I told them anytime you play Bergen and you compete against them its always a special win for the boys. I’ll take the 51st win tonight (referring to the County Championship win against Highlands) and its a little bit sweeter being the first lacrosse county championship at Don Bosco since 2013. And our boys were fantastic throughout the entire game.”
Head Coach Brendan Gorman on how it felt coaching this game, being #1 in the state of NJ and playing a very competitive Northern Highlands team- “It’s a once in a lifetime team and what I mean by that, you can coach many years and have some special teams but every so often a once in a lifetime team come about and this is that team that is truly special and really the culture that has been set at Don Bosco, these are some of the best guys on campus, some of the best students, best behaviors, best lacrosse player and not having a season last year, we told these guys to value the opportunity you have in front of you because at the beginning of the year we had no idea what was going to happen being a Covid year and even if we were going to have the opportunity to play this game and I’m really so happy for all these guys especially the seniors.”
Head Coach Brendan Gorman on weather or not Pope John should be scared- “Pope John, they’re a great team, I’m sure they’re gonna watch this game and scratch their heads a little bit, but at the end of the day, they’re going to come out to compete, every team we play is going to be their super bowl to come out and play us”
