I am obsessed with talavera. Works of art good enough to eat off – that’s the essence of Talavera pottery. I love the irregularities of hand painted pottery and the speckling that happens with a handmade piece of pottery, rather than something sprayed on an assembly line. Mexican talavera is handmade and hand painted by Mexico's talented potters.
