Since our founding in 1884, female students and instructors have always been welcome and present at Temple University. This is largely in credit to Laura Carnell, for whom Temple’s Carnell Hall is named. Carnell was Temple’s first dean and handled everything from finances to personnel matters to curriculum design. Her story is our legacy. ❤️🤍 #TempleFacts #WomensHistoryMonth
