## Caption

“We are not going back. We are not returning to the days of back room abortions, when countless women died or were maimed. The decision about abortion must remain a decision for the woman, her family and a physician to make, not the government.” -Bernie Sanders 

L.A. based artist @coriemattie took this quote to heart, and applied it to the creation of a new piece in Los Angeles, California. 

“I wanted to create a piece that looks like we have stepped back in time, because unfortunately, we have.  A fundamental right was stripped from people, and there is no light way to portray the magnitude of this issue. If this continues, the future is headed in a dark direction.  These pieces are a reminder that we cannot allow history to repeat itself.”
