While all of you are taking the opportunity to black out-I will continue to attempt to show you WHY the looting started. You see, black folks aren’t dealing with the death of #GeorgeFloyd- we are dealing with 400 years of systematic racism that told white people it was ok to kill black people WHILE telling black people to shut the fuck up about it. I do not condone the violence. However, I honestly couldn’t care less if a store is burned to the ground as long as the owners of said store is safe. You know why? BECAUSE I VALUE LIFE. NOT PROPERTY. So when you band wagoners jumped OFF the #BlackLivesMatter train bc you saw looting but never asked yourself what it must feel like to be oppressed SO much that your people could BE CHASED DOWN BY WHITE MEN IN THE STREET AND SHOT LIKE A DOG and your white friends would say OUT LOUD “well let’s wait for all the facts to come out”! Then we were made to FEEL BAD FOR BEING UPSET. #AhmaudArbery 
I can’t speak for all black people. I can only speak for myself. What I want is REAL GENUINE ALLYSHIP. Not this instagram fake ass allyship where you shed your white tears then go back to posting pictures in the damn poppy field. I want you to HELP! I sent a handful of friends the link to white fragility on audible. It’s an easy listen. I can GUARANTEE the majority hasn’t even dedicated the time (ONLY SIX HOURS) to listening. LISTENING NOT DOING WORK, JUST LISTENING. BE AN ALLY! If you’re a parent- RIGHT DAMN NOW I WANT YOU TO BUY YOUR KIDS SOME BLACK DOLLS, SOME DIVERSE BOOKS. NOW!  If you’re white without kids text a black friend and instead of saying “ARE YOU OK” (NO WERE NOT OK) INSTEAD SAY I LOVE YOU AND I WILL DO BETTER. PERIOD.  THEN BUY A BOOK AND DO THE WORK YOURSELF. IT IS NOT MY JOB TO MAKE YOU FEEL BETTER ABOUT YOUR REFUSAL TO SEE YOUR INHERENT BIASES. 
Im tired y’all. My grandmother is white. And once we were at church and a lady came up to her and asked was I adopted. All these years later, that’s still makes me cry. Do the fucking work. ❤️ #NotTodaySatan #IWillNotBeSilenced
