As we enter our 5th week of our “Lights Out: Nat King Cole” performances here at the Geffen Playhouse, I’m bringing it back to our opening night when I was blessed to meet and converse with Timolin and Casey Cole; the twin daughters of Nat & Maria Cole. “This is the story that needs to be shared about our father.” The blessing of those words mean the world to me, Casey & Timolin. It was an honor to meet you both and it’s an honor to take part in continuing your father’s legacy every night on the stage. I especially take my hat off to you both for the work that you are doing with Nat King Cole Generation Hope! Providing music education to children with the greatest need and the fewest resources is a sure fire way to ensure that there will always be 10 more!! With love, I  salute you 🙏🏾❤️
