The Henry Ford Trade School, the brainchild of Henry Ford was located at the Rouge Plant in Dearborn, Michigan, and ran from 1916-1952. They trained teen-aged boys in a variety of skilled, industrial trade work -- machining, metallurgy, drafting, and engine design.
