The Miners notched their eighth walk-off win of the season with a thrilling 3-2 comeback victory over the Québec Capitales. With the bases loaded, the wheelhousekitchenbar Miner of the Game, Alexi Colon, drove a 3-1 pitch into center field to score C.J. Retherford and Jay Baum. Starter Billy Roth pitched brilliantly, allowing zero earned runs in his seven innings of work. Billy limited the Capitales to two hits and struck out six.
