The Miners win again! Last night, we set a franchise record with our seventh consecutive victory by defeating the Québec Capitales, 5-1. The wheelhousekitchenbar Miner of the Game, Daniel Rockett (pictured), torched his former team with a pair of hits, runs scored, and RBI, including his sixth home run of the season. All-Star Gianni Zayas receives an honorable mention—he allowed only one run in his 6-2/3 innings pitched en route to his eighth win. Gianni now owns the canamleague’s lowest ERA of 2.54.
