The #SCMiners lost to the Garden State Grays, 11-2, in the opening game of the weekend series. Third baseman Devin Thaut not only drove in one of the Miners’ two runs, but he also pitched a scoreless ninth inning and recorded his first career strikeout. Thaut and second baseman Sergio Miranda extended their hitting streaks to eight games.
