## Caption

I actually timed out my movements to make this Cher inspired reel. Almost all of my costumes are inspired by Bob Mackie designs. I love what he did for Cher. She would have these quick moments of huge or outrageous overcoats or dresses only to be removed to reveal the real deal underneath. Each time the over piece was removed, the world was captivated by her slim, statuesque frame and next to nothing strategically placed looks. This costume weighs in at a whopping 12 pounds. 

I created this “medieval caftan” moment without a pattern. Sometimes I dream of designs and just cannot help but have them come to life. Before anyone else calls me Fiona from Shrek…let’s be clear that even if it was…and it wasn’t…y’all could never and redheads look fabulous in green. It’s always poison ivy or this or that. Green👏is👏the👏 complimentary👏color👏to👏red. Extensive knowledge of the color wheel is a huge part of my life. So sure Fiona from Shrek if you dare…or a smoking hot redhead working her best color palette 🎨. It’s the same reason redheads look great in blues as well. Orange and blue. Blondes in purples. This can also be applied to variations in skin tone and eyes. If you are ever wondering why certain colors don’t suit you…color theory. It is why I never miss. There will be a test on this later. 

I started studying the color wheel and dying fabric at age 7. I used it extensively while designing my own shoe lines in my teens that were featured in art colleges I never got to attend. By my twenties I was using it mixed with chemistry by being a color correction specialist in my cosmetology career all the way into my thirties. I would totally have it tattooed on my body…but here we are. 

Not all “compliments” are compliments…just say it is pretty or whatever and then ask me to make you one 🤣
