It’s no Kipchoge vs. Bekele but Friday night’s @trialsofmilesracing NYC Qualifier main event starts at 7 p.m. ET with an exhibition mile between @chris_j_chavez and @malcolmgladwell

Chavez: 27 years old. 5:09 PR in Oct. 2020. #LegsAreFeelinGood 

Gladwell: 57 years old. 3:55 PR for 1,500m while attending the University of Toronto a while ago. Last mile was the 2017 5th Ave Mile in 5:11 but he’s fitter now. Broke 5 at 5th Ave in 2014.
