Calgary, Alberta's Summer Masikewich capped off an incredible University of Saskatchewan Huskies career by being named usportsca Defensive Player of the Year! 

Summer was also named a usportsca Second Team All-Canadian. 

It was her Second All-Canadian honour, after being named to the First Team in 2019-20!

She was also named the Canada West Defensive Player of the Year for the second time of her career, with the first coming in 2018-19, and helped lead the Huskies to the conference championship.

Congratulations Summer on a tremendous career!
