This week, we will be celebrating #TEXASMoody first-gen college students. First up is Maurice Stallworth from Dallas, TX studying utexasrtf. “I am extremely proud to be a first-gen student. My family has been through so much struggle in life and seeing me attend college is a light leading them to a better future and it makes me proud to give them this dream of a better life." Maurice's advice for fellow first-gen college students is to not be afraid and feel like you don't belong. "You have worked hard to get here, and you deserve to be here. Never forget that you are here for a reason and in time, you will see that reason."
