See what's inside #CanonExplorerOfLight davidbergman's gear bag: "I'm currently on tour with country music superstar lukecombs, running my #shootfromthepit workshops and documenting our concerts at stadiums and arenas around the world. I shoot thousands of frames every night and have multiple Canon cameras and lenses that help me to do my best work. During the show, I carry two EOS R3 bodies with the RF24-105mm F4 L IS USM and RF100-500mm F4.5-7.1 L IS USM lenses. That range gives me a lot of flexibility to quickly switch from 24mm all the way to 500mm. Because the EOS R3 image quality is so good at extremely high ISOs like 12,800, I can still keep my shutter speed fast enough to freeze the action even when closing down my aperture to f/7.1.

I use the EOS R5 and the EOS-1D X Mark III for remotes. By setting them around the stage, I get unique angles that no one else can. I usually put the EOS R5 and RF15-35mm F2.8 L IS USM on the drum riser, and the people detection autofocus means that virtually every frame is tack sharp. I also like to put my EOS-1D X Mark III  and EF 11-24mm f/4L USM on a lighting truss above the stage to get a cool, overhead shot. 

I occasionally rotate other lenses into my kit to keep things interesting. I'm currently traveling with the EF 8-15mm f/4L Fisheye USM lens and the Control Ring Mount Adapter EF-EOS R so I can get a unique fisheye look. I always have one or two 600EX II-RT Speedlites in my bag for 'meet and greet' photos and to document the band backstage. With the Speedlite Transmitter ST-E3-RT, I can easily create an off-camera, two-light portrait whenever and wherever I want.

kurtozan251 is in Luke's band and is also an accomplished photographer. He recently gave me a 1970s era Canon Canonet QL17 G-III rangefinder film camera that has a non-detachable, 40mm f/1.7 prime lens. I haven't shot film in over 20 years, but it's been a fun camera to carry around. Rounding out my road kit, I've got radio transceivers for the remotes, a portable SSD hard drive for backup, a card wallet with extra digital cards, a drone for fun aerial shots on our days off, and shades for those bright, sunny days at country music festivals."
