"My family has been very agreeable when it comes time to select summer vacation spots. I am always looking for photo opportunities, whether it be #landscape, wildlife, #sunscape, or even motor sports. I have given a great deal of freedom to wander about on my own each day and look for amazing sights as long as I promise to #photograph them and share with my family. While I am out shooting, they are all lazily enjoying the slow summer vacation days with morning naps... Topsail Island happens to be situated so that #summer sunrises seem to come up over the coast. Add a photogenic pier and some foraging gulls, and a photo like this is impossible to pass up." #MyCanonStory
