One year ago tonight I drove out of the @tsrarena garage with a car full of boxes, packed with memorabilia and memories collected over a quarter century working for the @suns.
Today, I flew over my former home en route to Santa Barbara, where I will cover the @usabasktball's Women's National Team camp for the @wnba.
After tomorrow's morning #USABWNT practice, I will post photos and quotes sent to me from the service at @mountainridgechurch on their social channels, watch one of my clients play his 116th consecutive game in the @nfl, write a press release about some exciting news for mobile app developer @yinzcam, and then live tweet the regular-season finale for the @nwsl tomorrow night, all from my hotel room.
It is my first of five trips over the next seven weeks, that include keynotes in Germany and Slovenia, and live event coverage of @fightnightdc, the annual fundraiser for @fightforchildren.
I do not share any of this to boast or pat myself on the back, but to give you a peek into my new entrepreneur life, and to thank all of you who supported me in starting this new adventure one year ago. I couldn't have done it without your encouragement, advice, introductions and, in several cases, your willingness to hire me. Can't wait to see what #YearTwo brings!
