#Artemis I launch director Charlie Blackwell-Thompson hands the mission’s zero gravity indicator to Melissa Menta from Peanuts Worldwide LLC. Throughout its flight, cameras within the Orion spacecraft captured Snoopy floating around the capsule indicating microgravity.⁣
⁣
Snoopy has a long history with NASA, from the crew of Apollo 10 spacecraft calling their lunar module “Snoopy” to a Snoopy lapel pin that has flown in space, representing the Silver Snoopy award given to employees who have significantly contributed to human spaceflight.⁣
