Artemis, Roll Out 🛼

Watch as the Space Launch System (SLS) rocket that will power Artemis to the Moon is rolled out to Launch Pad 39B. The SLS and Orion spacecraft were loaded aboard the crawler-transporter and moved to the launch pad, in a trip that took 10 hours and 28 minutes to make the four-mile (6.4 kilometer) journey.

The 17 story tall, 3.5-million-pound (1.6 million kg) rocket and spacecraft were moved in preparation for another test known as the wet dress rehearsal, in which the Artemis I launch team will practice loading and unloading propellant into the rocket and run a full launch countdown.

The transportation and wet dress rehearsal are crucial stages ahead of the upcoming the #Artemis I test flight.
