BioSentinel, launching aboard #Artemis I, will inspire solutions to keep astronauts safe during deep space missions.

The harsh radiation environment of space poses health hazards to astronauts, as exposure to high-energy particles can damage DNA and cells in the body.

BioSentinel has an onboard laboratory that will study the effects of space radiation on yeast, a microorganism that shares many similarities with human cells.
