Meet laurathompson23. Laura is a competitive crossfit athlete who struggled with a hamstring issue for almost six months before giving the TB12™ Sports Therapy Center a chance. “The pain started to get worse,” Laura says. “I finally decided to invest in myself becoming pain free so I could train like I needed. My experience working with Body Coach Paul Hagerty (LAc, CSCS) and TB12 has been incredible. He’s very talented at what he does, and he’s helped me so much with the mental aspect of my injury. Every minute of our hour together is productive. We talk about my recovery, how to keep training my mind, and even how to manage my own frustrations through injury. We focus on reteaching my mind how to go through movement and pliability work without pain. It had been conditioned so long to hurt during certain movement patterns, so visualizing myself doing these exercises pain free is important.  It has made a huge difference for me!"
Laura plans to keep Paul and TB12 part of her athletic regime indefinitely. "Coming to TB12 was absolutely the best decision I ever made in my athletic career. The approach was different, and I felt relief almost immediately. After just a short time, I already consider Paul a partner in my journey to qualify for the Crossfit Games,” says Laura. “I'm incredibly grateful for him and the TB12 Method. I’ve seen more progress in four weeks then I have in the past six months! My only regret is not coming sooner.”
