Check out this sky view of John F. Kennedy Space Center, AKA America’s gateway to deep space. Last week nasakennedy, NASA's mobile launcher atop crawler-transporter-2 started its trek to Launch Pad 39B from outside the Vehicle Assembly Building. 
This was the first time the modified mobile launcher has moved to the pad and the event marks a major milestone: construction is now complete for the Exploration Ground Systems that will enable Space Launch System (SLS) and Orion’s maiden voyage around the Moon. The 380-foot-tall mobile launcher is equipped with a crew access arm, and several umbilicals that will provide power, environmental control, pneumatics, communication and electrical connections to SLS and Orion.
