Let's blast into the weekend with some rocket fuel! This #flashback photo shows Space Shuttle Maine Engines on the Space Shuttle Orbiter Atlantis during liftoff from NASA's Kennedy Space Center in April, 2002. The Block II Main Engines may be from another era but they haven't gone away -- they are being rebuilt by NASA and Aerojet Rocketdyne to power the Space Launch System rocket and #Orion spacecraft on missions into deep space.
