Earlier today we posted a shot of the Space Launch System (SLS) model shop nasa_marshall, now let's end the week with a shot of the real deal. SLS had another big day yesterday when the RS-25 engine fired up for a 500-second test at NASA’s Stennis Space Center near Bay St. Louis, Mississippi. Four RS-25 engines will power the core stage of NASA's new rocket, the Space Launch System. #slsfiredup
