The Louisiana Air National Guard’s 159th Fighter Wing pilots fly F-15C and F-15D fighter jets that are almost 40 years old at Naval Air Station Joint Base New Orleans. The Air Force announced they plan to replace the aging jets with a new F-15EX fleet. Depending on an environmental impact analysis, the advanced jets could arrive after spring of 2024.
