“As a first-gen student-athlete at the University of Texas, I was incredibly grateful for my coaches, advisors and mentors who guided and supported me throughout my career. I never would have completed a Master’s Degree, pursued a career in philanthropy, or have a leadership role at Cornell without their steadfast belief in me and my ability to be successful. Along with my parents, they were my biggest champions and key to my lifelong success.”⠀ As you settle in to campus, remember that mentors, support systems, and resources to help you find community are available throughout SCL.
