See You At The Top: I borrowed this slogan and tip my hat to the greatest motivational speaker of all time, Zig Ziglar. He spoke on and lived by priciples that would greatly increase your ability to get to where you want to go in life. The “at the top” part isn’t as important to me as the “see you” part, because although I want to get to the top, it would be a selfish journey and not as impactful if YOU aren’t headed there with me.

Stay Dangerous: anybody who has ever accomplished anything great, anything noteworthy, anything that made an impact, must live with a great deal of danger. Those individuals braved the unknown, refused to conform and never let anything or anybody deter them from their dreams. Living dangerously is the only true way to assure that you’re actually living life to its fullest.

WALK ON: the single most important decision I have made in my professional life was becoming a walk on to the University of Missouri mizzouwrestling team. I wasn’t recruited. No scholarship was offered. Under skilled, under talented and the lowest guy in the totem pole, I scraped and clawed my way onto the starting squad, became a 2-year team captain, 4 x NCAA qualifier and an All-American. I don’t list these accomplishments to impress you, rather I want to impress upon you that how you started doesn’t have to be how you end up. Eventually all the hard work pays off, you just still have to be standing there when it does. Walk on!
