If you don’t truly see yourself as a champion, as worth something, as valuable - then you may find success every now and then, but you will never consistently perform at that level.

The cognitive dissonance of your reality not lining up with the view you have of yourself will always find a way to pull you back down into your “safe zone” - where we justify our shortcomings with “I gave it my best shot” when really it was just your lack of self-belief that landed us in that shortcoming.

I’ve been there 1,000 times and I fight it every single for day.

3 WAYS TO IMPROVE YOUR SELF-IMAGE:
• Surround yourself with positive people. People with the same goals as you. People with the same integrity as you. People who believe in you.
•Get outside your comfort zone: the only true way to prove to yourself that you can withstand more than you thought is to engage in activities that land you in places that solidify that you have what it takes. If you fall short, at least you failed while daring greatly.
•Be a good person. Do things the right way. Don’t take shortcuts. Have integrity. You can’t wake up excited about achievement when you went to bed beating yourself up about your lack of character. Help somebody; do someone a favor with no expectations in return and watch your day open up with more opportunities and more possibilities.
